The Association for the Preservation and Presentation of the Arts, Inc. (APPA), founded in 1964, is a cultural arts and educational organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults through the preservation and presentation of a broad range of art forms and educational experiences.
Since the early 1960’s, APPA artists have performed annually in major APPA produced classics such as: “Hokus Pokus”, “Picture Poetry Book”, “Mr. And Mrs. Toymaker”, “Valencia”, “Kardoko”, and numerous other APPA sponsored cultural arts programs In the Washington Area.
The money raised through pledges and events such as as plays, raf events help support the APPA missionfles, dance productions, silent auctions, trips, and other creative events, help to serve the young and families in need in the community.
